As I go along and find the need to explain terms used in new posts I will continue to add to this page.
Aroid- Adjective also: araceous of, relating to, or belonging to the Araceae, a family of plants having small flowers massed on a spadix surrounded by a large petaloid spathe. The family includes arum, calla, and anthurium
Growing Medium-The material your plants are growing in. Outdoor plants usually take soil while indoor plants often require special mixes.
Light- specifically type of plant light needs. see post on light here
Zones- garden zones are numerical and have A or B after them to represent the average annual minimum temp for that area.
